Key takeaway

In Morocco, an SEO audit costs from 600 DH with a freelancer to 15 000 DH or more with an agency, and local SEO for one city is advertised at 1 000 to 5 000 DH a month (not counting basic profile management on its own), based on public prices checked in October 2026. Full monthly SEO with content runs from 1 800 DH to over 20 000 DH a month. Compare what is delivered each month rather than the price alone, and know that nobody can guarantee a position on Google.

The cost of SEO in Morocco ranges from a few hundred dirhams to over 20 000 DH a month. The gap is not only about the size of the agency: a one-off audit, looking after a Google profile, writing articles and nationwide SEO support are four different services. Here are the public prices checked in October 2026, service by service, followed by what a serious quote should include.

SEO cost in Morocco, service by service

These are prices that Moroccan agencies and freelancers publish on their own websites. Some agencies publish a guide with market ranges rather than a price of their own: we flag those as such.

Public prices checked in October 2026; providers rarely say whether VAT is included. A guide gives a range, not a quote.

How much does an SEO audit cost in Morocco?

An audit tells you what stops your site from being found: pages Google doesn't see, duplicate titles, slow loading, thin content, an incomplete Google profile. With a freelancer, it starts at around 600 DH. At agencies, BrandUp Digital lists 5 000 to 15 000 DH depending on depth, some guides put a basic audit at 1 500 to 2 000 DH and up (SpaceWeb, Tourak Digital), and Kolonell puts an initial audit at 5 000 to 20 000 DH excl. VAT.

A good audit ends with a list of fixes ranked by priority; a score out of 100 doesn't tell you what to do. Ask to see a sample of what you will receive before you pay.

Local SEO: what does it cost to show up on Google Maps?

For a shop or a practice whose customers live in the same city, local SEO is often enough: a Google Business Profile, reviews, consistent contact details, service pages. The prices we found run from 500 DH a month for managing the profile alone at BrandUp Digital to 3 000 to 5 000 DH excl. VAT a month in the range Kolonell gives. Setting up the profile is billed separately: 1 000 DH at BrandUp Digital, 1 490 DH at creation-site.ma.

The details of this work are in our guide Local SEO in Morocco: showing up on Google Maps.

How much does an SEO article cost?

Writing an optimised page or article is often billed per piece: 150 to 500 DH a page with a freelancer such as Hamza Sehouli, 800 to 3 000 DH an article according to BrandUp Digital. The difference comes down to research. A text that repeats what you can find everywhere has little chance of ranking; a text with prices, sources and local examples stands a better chance.

Why do prices vary so much?

  • The target area: one city, the whole of Morocco, or several countries and languages.
  • The competition: ranking for "dentist Tangier" usually takes less work than for a hard-fought national search.
  • What is produced each month: number of pages or articles, technical fixes, links earned on other sites.
  • Who does the work: a freelancer alone, or a team with a writer, a developer and an analyst.
  • Languages: a site in French and Arabic doubles part of the content work.

What should an SEO quote include?

A serious quote describes the work; it promises no ranking. Check that it states:

  • the monthly deliverables: how many pages, articles, fixes;
  • the keywords and area worked on, chosen with you;
  • the report: which measures (visits from Google, calls, enquiries) and how often;
  • the commitment period and the notice to stop;
  • what stays yours: Search Console access, the Google Business Profile, the content produced.

Warning sign

An agency that guarantees first place on Google is promising something nobody controls. Google says so itself: no one can guarantee first place (Google Search Central).

And at BrightIntent, what does it cost?

Our indicative prices: an SEO audit from 3 000 DH excl. VAT, paid once, local SEO from 2 300 DH excl. VAT a month, and full monthly SEO with content from 4 100 DH excl. VAT a month (launch price until January 31, 2027). Creating or verifying a Google Business Profile costs an extra 1 500 to 3 000 DH excl. VAT, and each extra article 1 200 to 2 000 DH excl. VAT.

Search Console access and the Google profile stay in your name, and every month you get a clear report, without jargon. The details are on our SEO services in Morocco page. For an estimate that fits your project, build your online quote.

Frequently asked questions

What does an SEO service cost in Morocco?

Based on public prices checked in October 2026, expect 600 DH to 15 000 DH or more for a one-off audit, 1 000 to 5 000 DH a month for local SEO in one city, and 1 800 DH to over 20 000 DH a month for full monthly SEO with content.

Is SEO free?

Yes, on Google's side: appearing in the organic results costs nothing, and unlike Google Ads there is no price per click. The cost is the work: yours if you do it yourself, or a provider's.

How do you do SEO well?

Start with what Google sees: pages that answer your customers' questions precisely, a title and a description for each page, a site that loads fast on mobile, and a complete Google Business Profile. Then check in Search Console which pages bring in visits, and improve those first.

How long does SEO take to show results?

Allow a few weeks for a complete Google Business Profile, and 3 to 6 months for the website's SEO, according to the timelines given by agencies such as Boughaz Digital. Nobody can guarantee a position.

Can I do my own SEO?

Yes, for the basics: a complete Google Business Profile, one page per service, clear titles, reviews from real customers. A provider becomes useful when competition is strong or the site has technical problems.

What is the difference between SEO and Google Ads?

Google Ads shows ads you pay for per click, for as long as the budget runs. SEO improves your place in the organic results: it is slower, but the visits don't stop the day you stop paying.

What are the three types of SEO?

Usually technical SEO (a site Google can read and that loads fast), content (pages that answer customers' questions) and authority (links and mentions from other sites). For a local business, the Google Business Profile comes on top of these three.
